One of six residence halls comprising the
South Campus complex, Good Counsel provides a co-educational (by wing)
living environment for 240 residents. Good Counsel hall will house
freshmen and sophomores in double room accommodations.
Constructed in 1969, Good Counsel was originally built to provide
housing for women immediately following the University's transition to
co-education in 1968. Until the construction of Stanford Hall in 1971,
the building existed in relative isolation on the southern edge of the
campus.
