Parking

Handicap ParkingThe residents of each apartment will receive two hang tags for use by Junior and Senior students residing in the West Campus Apartments. These may only be used in conjunction with a West Resident sticker, which must be purchased from the Parking Office (Only Junior and Senior students will be permitted to purchase these). The hang tags may only be used by the residents of the apartment which they have been issued to. Use by others may result in loss of parking privileges. If one or both of the hang tags is not needed (i.e. Only one of the four residents is of Junior or Senior status, or only one has a vehicle), the extra hang tag(s) may be returned to the Parking Office and issued to another unit occupied by students who desire more than the two tags which they have been issued. This can be accomplished at the beginning of the Spring Semester. You may not give your hang tags to residents of any other apartment unit without doing so through the Parking Office.

Note: If relocating to a different apartment unit or going abroad, hang tags must be returned to the Parking Office. Residents not complying shall be fined $100.00 each. If a resident who is remaining in the unit wishes to keep the parking hang-tag, the Parking Office must be notified.

Trash Removal

Trash RecyclingRemoval of trash from your apartment will be the responsibility of you and your roommates. Each apartment unit will receive a Villanova University Recycling Bin. This bin should be utilized for your recyclable trash. A list of what and how to recycle is provided on the following page. All non-recyclable trash should be placed in garbage bags.

All recyclables (except glass) and garbage should be taken to one of the five trash/recycling centers located on the parking lot sides of the apartment buildings. There are glass recycling "Igloos" located between Moulden and Rudolph Halls, as well as next to Farley Hall. The glass recycling "Igloos" are not located inside the recycling/trash centers, because Delaware County, rather than University Maintenance is responsible for picking up all glass recyclables.

Glass which has been contaminated with such items as tobacco products, cooking oil, etc. should not be recycled.

Used motor oil from cars, trucks and motorcycles should be drained into a clean container and taken to the University Garage, which is located under the football stadium.
