Who is eligible to participate in the lottery?

Rising Sophomore - a current freshman living in a residence hall, enrolled as a full-time undergraduate freshman and who applied to the University and was accepted as a resident, click here.
Rising Junior - a current sophomore living in a residence hall, enrolled as a full-time undergraduate sophomore and who applied to the University and was accepted as a resident, click here.

Guaranteed Senior - a current junior living in a residence hall, and is guaranteed a 4th year of housing through a special scholarship or academic program, click here.

How are the lottery numbers given out?
Lottery numbers are assigned using a random, computer generated system.

How are housing assignments made off of the lottery numbers?
Rooms and types of apartments are assigned beginning with the lowest lottery number to the highest.

If I'm guaranteed housing, why do I have a lottery number?
The lottery number is used to organize room assignments.

Can I give my lottery number to someone else if I plan to room with another person with a better lottery number?
