There are two Housing Assignment Lotteries for Upperclassmen:
Rising
Juniors and Guaranteed Seniors
Rising Sophomores
Based on your eligibility,
you may automatically be placed in one of the above lotteries. Lottery
numbers are used to prioritize and organize housing assignments.
View the Legend below to help you identify your particular classification by
the Office for Residence Life. If you are unsure of your classification, please
feel free to check with the
Office for Residence Life so we can assist you.

New Incoming Freshman admitted to the University as a Resident Student,

Rising Sophomore

a current
freshman living in a residence hall, enrolled
as a full-time undergraduate freshman and who
applied to the University and was accepted as a resident,

Rising Junior - a current sophomore
living in a residence hall, enrolled as a full-time
undergraduate sophomore and who
applied to the University and was accepted as a resident,
click here.
Guaranteed Senior - a current junior living in a residence hall, and
is guaranteed a 4th year of housing through a special scholarship or
academic program,
click here.
If you do not have a preferred roommate and wish to be assigned a double
room, you will be assigned a random roommate who indicated a preference to
live in the same building.
