The University Relations department of SGA is composed of three committees, Interdepartmental, Outreach, and Liaisons. Interdepartmental is responsible for observing all SGA committee meetings and relaying important information to every member of SGA. A monthly newsletter allows SGA members to stay up to date with current projects and upcoming events. Outreach primarily interacts with the student body on campus and they typically distribute free hot chocolate and SGA information at the Oreo. This year Outreach created the Stall Street Journal, a light-hearted news article, which updates the student body on SGA events. Liaisons are the newest SGA committee and are another way SGA remains connected with the student body. Liaisons are present in the dorms and are always available to hear the student’s ideas and concerns. They communicate upcoming SGA events and are responsible for publicizing SGA.
