We've Set Sail!
Thanks to all the athletes, coaches, and volunteers for making this Fall Festival the best yet at Villanova University. We easily broke our volunteer record for the weekend, and thanks to some great weather, we saw some amazing competition from the athletes. We'll be posting some videos and pictures from the event soon, but in the meantime help us complete this survey. Competition results are also available.

Check out Villanova Special Olympics newest fundraiser - Jay Wright Mugs! All of the proceeds from the sale will benefit the Fall Festival. The Fall Festival is hosted and organized by Villanova University students and is the largest annual student-run Special Olympics event in the world. This year's festival will be held from November 6th to November 8th and will incorporate a nautical theme. Set Sail for Fall Fest 2009!
Special Olympics Pennsylvania (SOPA) provides year-round sports training and competition for more than 20,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities. The organization offers over 260 local and sectional events and four major statewide events - Winter Games, Summer Games, State Floor Hockey Tournament, and Fall Festival - in 23 sports with the opportunity for athletes to advance to regional and international competition. On behalf of the Pennsylvania chapter of Special Olympics Pennsylvania, Villanova University would like to thank all the athletes, coaches, family, friends, and volunteers for making our 20th anniversary Fall Festival our best yet! Held on campus from November 7-9, 2008, the 20th Anniversary Festival drew over 1,000 athletes, 400 coaches, and 3,000 volunteers from the Villanova Student Body and surrounding community. The campus, transformed by the theme, "A World of Competition," played home to exciting competition and cultural entertainment throughout the weekend.
