For the 16th consecutive year, Villanova University hosted the Special Olympics Pennsylvania Fall Festival on November 12-14, 2004.  Nearly 1,000 athletes and 350 coaches from 58 counties participated in the statewide competition.  Over 2,000 volunteers from the Villanova student body as well as the surrounding community served as officials, athlete escorts and award presenters, as well as to provide administrative support services.  The Fall Festival was hosted and organized by Villanova University students and once again was the largest student-run Special Olympics event in the nation.
