Welcome to CAT's 2008-2009 Application Process

Application Deadline Extended! The application deadline has been extended to Sunday, March 9th at 11:59pm. Applications will be accepted online throughout Spring Break week. Check out the criteria for applying and submit your application today!

Criteria for applying

Qualifications Requirements

All applicants must:

  • Have at least one semester involvement in CAT
  • Be a student in good academic and disciplinary standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.3. (However a 2.5 is recommended.)
  • Be able to fulfill at least one term of office, which will begin on March 30, 2008 and end the last day of classes in the Spring 2009 semester.

If selected, Executive Board members will be required to:

  • Attend a weekly Monday night board meeting between 4:00pm and 8:30pm
  • Maintain three (3) weekly office hours
  • Meet with an advisor on a weekly basis
  • Hold weekly committee meetings
  • Attend a leadership training prior to Orientation and for a weekend in the Fall

Candidates Day Saturday, April 12th
Board Bonding Day Sunday, April 13th
Monday Night Executive Board Meetings Beginning Monday, April 14th at 5:45pm
NovaFest 2008 Friday & Saturday, April 25th-26th
Executive Board Banquet Sunday, April 27th

How to apply

  1. Submit your application online by Sunday, March 9th at 11:59pm.
  2. Follow the instructions to sign up for an interview. Interviews are 30 minutes in length, and give our Executive Officers and advisors an opportunity to meet you in person.
  3. Attend your scheduled interview time.
