Fraternity Chapters at Villanova

Beta Theta Pi (ΒΘΠ)

This distinguished chapter has been dedicated since its founding to the cultivation of the intellect and brotherhood among young men through academic, social, and service activities. Through these activities we diversify our members and help them become the leaders of tomorrow’s ever changing world. We currently have twenty-seven outstanding members that are dedicated to leaving the University with the ability of being the best they can be.

We are proud of our growing chapter and of the twenty-seven active brothers we now boast. Currently we have been extremely active on campus as well as off; from sponsoring philanthropy events to participating in Greek activities to hosting the most exciting and entertaining social gatherings, we are enjoying our Beta brotherhood. We encourage our many alumni to come and visit as we prepare for the exciting times that await us in the near future.

Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI)

Membership in Phi Gamma Delta (also known as "Fiji") is premised on five key VALUES:

We are united by FRIENDSHIP. It is the basis of our brotherhood. Because of it we accomplish far more than we do as individuals. Friendship is the sweetest influence.

We promote the pursuit of KNOWLEDGE. It is the key to a fuller, richer life. We gain it through education, the harmonious development of the powers of the individual.

We encourage SERVICE. We have the ability, the opportunity, and the duty to serve our fellow human beings. Our reward is the satisfaction that comes from serving.

We believe in MORALITY. As gentlemen of quality we must do what is right as individuals and as a group. Moral behavior is the basis of society's existence.

We strive for EXCELLENCE. It is attained only when we fulfill our total potential. Mankind benefits when each of us becomes all that we can be.

Phi Sigma Kappa (ΦΣΚ)

In the firm conviction that my fraternity demands of me a life of faith and purpose.

I hereby solemnly declare my faith in the wisdom and love of God; in the dignity and worth of my fellowmen; in the strength and beauty of true fraternity; in the history and future of my country; and in the traditions and program of my alma mater.

Henceforward, therefore, it shall be my purpose to remain forever true to this, my fraternity's faith in me and in turn to preserve and promote courageously and unselfishly the chosen ideals of our mutual affection and common endeavor.

To this end I dedicate my life to the maintenance of this faith and the pursuit of this purpose so that the ideals of Pi Sigma Kappa being embodied in me, may be fulfilled in my character and cindct, and be known and honored by all men.

By these things I stand.

Sigma Alpha Epsilon (ΣΑΕ)

"The True Gentleman is the man whose conduct proceeds from
good will and an acute sense of propriety, and whose self-control
is equal to all emergencies; who does not make the poor man
conscious of his poverty, the obscure man of his obscurity, or any
man of his inferiority or deformity; who is himself humbled if
necessity compels him to humble another; who does not flatter
wealth, cringe before power, or boast of his own possessions or
achievements; who speaks with frankness but always with sincerity
and sympathy; whose deed follows his word; who thinks of the rights
and feelings of others, rather than his own; and who appears well
in any company, a man with whom honor is sacred and virtue safe."

- Sir John Walter Wayland

Sigma Phi Epsilon (ΣΦΕ)

Sigma Phi Epsilon (SigEp) is the nation's largest fraternity with over 14,000 undergraduates on 260 campuses nationwide. SigEp is also the only fraternity to have a nationwide GPA over a 3.0, taking into account all 14,000 of our members. SigEp prides itself on offering a different fraternity experience through its award-winning Balanced Man Program (BMP). The BMP is a four-year personal and professional development program which completely eliminates the pledging process. We are the only fraternity at Villanova to offer such an alternative. The BMP is based on ancient Greek ideals of Sound Mind and Sound Body, and focuses on making sure our members live their best life. SigEp is Villanova's newest fraternity, and is looking for men who are focused on personal and academic growth, have at least a 3.0 GPA, and are involved on campus and in the community.
