Northern Home After-School Tutor A partial counseling and rehabilitation center for youth who have been declared "neglected" by the state of Pennsylvania. This trip is a great bonding experience! The kids need help in Math, English, and higher educational goals. Mt. Zion After-School Tutor An after school tutoring program in Norristown with a high Latino and Italian population. Morrison After-School Tutor A trip that is combined with members of Campus Ministry. Volunteers will be engaging in after school programs for the girls in the Morrison School as well as the neighboring high school. A unique trip to form great, closely knit relationships with a group of spirited young women. Many activities involved as well as tutoring mainly in Math. Hickman Day Care/Tutor A Day Care Center and also hosts after school programs. Volunteers will be working with children as young as infants to those 7th grade. Tutoring in subjects such as Reading, Math, and English is also involved. Bryn Mawr Hospital "Project Sunshine" A national non-profit organization that funds this program. We will go to the children's ward in Bryn Mawr Hospital to have fun with the kids. Part of the time slot for this trip will be used in planning activities for upcoming weeks Junior Achievement Universal Charter School   Divine Providence Group Home A great trip in which you have fun doing Jazzercise with mentally and physically disabled men and women. St. Nick's After-School Tutor A Catholic after school program for elementary school students. Volunteers will be tutoring in various subjects on the elementary school level. St. Phil's After-School Tutor An after school program for students between the ages of 6 and 14. There is a high population of Asian and African American children who struggle in academics because their parents do not speak English. St. James Elderly A retirement and partial assisted living facility for the elderly. Volunteers do creative activities like baking, knitting, crafts, etc. Non-Tutoring. St. Ed's Group Home A home for severely mentally and physically disabled children up to 21 years of age. Universal Charter School-After-School Tutor A chartered school in South Philadelphia. Volunteers will be assisting children from 5th and 8th grade, helping them in Math and Reading in order to pass standardized tests. St. Gabriel's-"Urban Bridges" Tutor/Literacy Olney After-School Tutor "Play It Smart" SAT Prep Tutor A national program for high school football players needing mentoring about their educational goals, as well as basic tutoring in Math and English for their SAT prep.
