The Architecture, Security, and Consulting team provides guidance to the
Villanova community in making technology selections to further the
academic mission and business processes of the University.
This guidance
is provided in part, through the use of an architectural portfolio
containing technology standards, design guidelines, and a security
doctrine, which can be employed to support the evaluation, adoption, and
deployment of new technologies.
The principles contained in this
portfolio are designed to insure that acquired technologies are in
alignment with existing academic and business strategies, will further
innovative teaching and business principles, and are interoperable with
existing technological products and processes.
