UNIT has three governance committees:

University IT Committee (UCIT) UCIT serves as the decision making body for major IT projects and policies
proposed by Academic IT or Administrative IT Committees. UCIT is
responsible for approval of the University IT strategy.

Administrative IT Committee (ADIT) ADIT evaluates and recommends IT
strategies, projects, and policies that
support the administrative functions of the University, receives input
from Administrative Departments.

Academic IT Committee (ACIT) ACIT evaluates and recommends IT
strategies, projects, and policies that
support the educational processes, receives input from College IT
committees, advises Vice President of Academic Affairs on Instructional
Technology
