Across campus in labs and classrooms, Villanova maintains 1200 PCs for
public and classroom use. Public computer labs located in
Mendel and Tolentine Halls are open to all faculty, students and staff with a
valid Villanova Wildcard. The public labs contain desktop computers that
provide access to the Internet, University Information Systems, an
application software library (including the Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel,
Access, FrontPage, PowerPoint) laser printers and scanners. Student
computer consultants are available during specific times to assist users
of the labs. In addition, specialized labs are available for
multimedia
development.
The college labs provide state of the art hardware and software for academic purposes. Other
classrooms have stationary projection systems, wired and wireless
data/network internet access, and cable TV access. |
