All students (except graduating seniors) must return their Villanova issued Dell D620 laptop with service tag ending in C1 or D1. There is no option to keep the
laptop; all laptops will be returned to the leasing company.
When it comes time to turn in your Dell
Latitude D620, please review all information below regarding the return,
backup procedures, repairs, and Early Ship.
Please visit the Support section to find out how to back up
any important information to you before coming to return your laptop. Once the laptops are returned they are immediately cleaned and boxed up
to send back to the leasing company.
When returning the laptop, you must also return the AC Adapter, CD ROM, and Battery. You will be charged for missing items. Inspect the laptop for cracks, scratches in the case, and/or
visible scratches in the LCD. Note any other physical damage and report
at return time.
If you have been experiencing problems with your laptop, you are encouraged
to take it to the TechZONE to get it fixed by the technician. You are responsible
for returning a laptop that is in full working condition. The laptops
will go through a detailed diagnostic progress before boxing. If
user damage is found, you will be charged for the repair on your tuition.
