As a token of your Alma Mater's good wishes for your future, the Dean, Faculty, and Staff of Villanova University want you to accept the Dell laptop computer you have been using over these last two years as a graduation gift from all of us.  May it continue to serve you well in the years ahead.

As with any action of this magnitude, there are additional details that need to be addressed.  Please read the following information regarding repair, support and license guidelines after graduation.

Support

The TechZONE and University Helpdesk will offer support for the Dell Laptop up until the day of Graduation.  There is no option to extend the warranty for the laptop after graduation.  Once Graduation has past, there will be no support offered through the University for the Dell laptops, you can contact Dell directly for service. You will be responsible for any repairs (warranty or non-warranty) done on the laptop.

Software License

Engineering Graduates Please Note-Because of software manufacturer's restrictions, Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0 must be removed after you graduate.  This software application is licensed for use only by current Villanova faculty, staff, and students. 

All Graduates Please Note-We have contracted with e-academy to provide software license transfer. You should receive an email (May 14 or later) from "no reply @e-academy.com" with a link to obtain your software license for Microsoft Windows XP Professional and Microsoft Office. This email is NOT SPAM and please DON'T DELETE it. The site is setup for the student to obtain the actual license for the software and the option to purchase the media.  The student is required to obtain the software license, purchasing the media is optional. You will download a pdf titled Campus Agreement-Exhibit 1. Please retain this document as your student license confirmation.
