Faculty Multimedia Lab

Faculty Multimedia Lab

Do you have articles, images or maybe even slides that need to be scanned? Perhaps you have a video clip which would really help make a point in an upcoming lecture. Are you going away, and have a PowerPoint lecture planned for that class. Maybe you would like to narrate it. Whatever the course materials might be that you need to prepare for use on the Web, the Faculty Multimedia Lab is the place to work on them.

The Faculty Multimedia Lab is equipped to handle all of these situations and more. The lab contains HP scanners for scanning text, pictures, and slides. There is a video capture station for capturing and encoding video to allow for streaming it over the internet. There is a workstation set up for anyone wishing to narrate a PowerPoint presentation. Narrated PowerPoint presentations may be encoded as either Real Media files or as Flash files.

There is an exam scanner available in the Faculty Multimedia Lab for anyone using the op-scan sheets and needing to scan and grade them.
