| 1. Go to the following website to download iTunes: |
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

2. Under the “Download
now” section, select whether you are using the “Windows 2000/XP”
or “Mac OS X” operating system. Also, please note you are not
required to enter an email address in the “email address field” |
Note: The
computer requirements for running iTunes are also listed. However, if
you are using a Villanova University supported computer, then your
computer will already meet the listed requirements. If you have a
question whether your computer meets the listed requirements, you can

3. To download, click the “Download iTunes – Free”
button. |

| 4. The following “File
Download—Security Warning” window will appear: |
 |
| Click the “Save” button and specify a
location on your computer where to save the iTunes installation file
(e.g. desktop). Click “Save” again. |
 |
| 5. Once the “Download Complete” window appears,
click “Run” button. |
 |
| 6. An “Internet Explorer – Security Warning”
window will appear. Click “Run”. |
 |
| 7. Now, the actual iTunes installation process will
begin. |

| 8. When the following window appears, click “Next”. |
 |
| 9. After reading the license agreement, select “I
accept the terms in the license agreement” and then click the “Next”
button. |
 |
| 10. iTunes will then prompt you with selecting 4 options:
It is recommended to have the following settings:
i. “Install desktop shortcuts” – Keep this
checked
ii. “Use iTunes as the default player for audio
files” – Do not check
iii. “Install Apple software to easily update iTunes and other Apple software” – Keep this checked
iv. “Destination Folder” - Do not change
this setting.

| 11. Then, click the “Install” button. |
|
| 12. iTunes will go through the install process. |
 |
| 13. Once the iTunes installation is completed, click “Finish”.
(If you had the “Open iTunes after the installer exits” selected,
then iTunes will open up automatically) |

| 14. After reading the “iTunes Software License
Agreement”, click the “Agree” button. |
 |
| 15. Please note: The following window may appear:
If you
wish to use this feature, click “Ok” or if not, click “Cancel”.

| 16. Congratulations, you have now completed iTunes
installation. iTunes should now open. Here is what you should see |
