WebCT/Blackboard Merger
In October 2005, WebCT and its largest competitor, Blackboard,
announced their intention to merge the two companies. The combined
company will retain the separate brands and product lines of both
Blackboard and WebCT until the best features of each software package
can be integrated in the future.
