Database Administration Services

The Database Administration group manages all data and information systems on campus. This includes:

• Banner and NOVASIS
• WebCT data systems (see Academic Services for application support)
• iPayment e-Commerce solution
• Databases that underlie the VU website
• SmartCall, an application to coordinate Alumni giving
• Villanova's data warehousing and analytical reporting solution

Mission

The goal of the Database Administration group is to provide reliable access to information required by the entire Villanova community to facilitate learning and effective administration. We strive to make our systems available to those who need them while maintaining data integrity and security.
