Public Access Convenience Telephones

Most of the academic and administrative buildings and all residence halls on campus have public access telephones. These telephones are generally wall mounted in hallways or outside the main entrance of residence halls. The telephones can call any on campus 5-digit telephone number plus a toll free number.

The university has also installed student convenience phones in every resident hall. There is at least one convenience phone per floor. the larger dorms have several. These phones should be used to call Public Safety, Health Services, or any other 5 digit on-campus telephone number. The phones also have the capability of calling a toll free number. Local and long distance calling is restricted on these phones.
