U-Vault is an off site data protection solution. With U-Vault, you can take advantage of the automated features to safely and securely save valuable information including research papers, homework assignments, CAD files, pictures, and music. Villanova University’s U-Vault is pre-configured to take everything in your My Documents folder and your Desktop and store it off site in an encrypted format. The student is the only one who can see or restore this information anywhere there is an Internet connection, on or off campus.

Villanova University is making the software available to all students in Laptop Required Programs starting in the 2006 Fall Semester. To participate, click on the link below to Sign Up. Once installed, U-Vault will automatically run overnight each night to secure any new or changed information on your computer.
