Check for McAfee Virus Scanner

The McAfee virus scanner will be in one or both places if your computer has it installed:

• Prior to downloading .DAT file updates, please take a moment to verify there is a Mcafee scan engine on your machine. Look for the McAfee virus scan program under the Start, Programs, Mcafee VirusScan OR Network Associates menu. If it is located there then CLICK HERE.
• Look for a Mcafee Virus Shield in the bottom right hand corner of your screen. If it is located there CLICK HERE
• If you are Faculty, Staff, of Student at Villanova and do not find any Virus Scanner on your machine, click here to install McAfee Virus Scanner. Due to Licensing agreements with Mcafee Virus Scan and Villanova University, off campus users must goto the Support Downloads Page for a 30 day trial of either Mcafee or Norton Virus Scan.
