It is essential that you first uninstall all existing anti-virus applications including Norton Home from your computer before you install McAfee VirusScan Enterprise edition.

To remove Norton 2004 Home or other existing Anti-Virus software, use the add/remove programs control panel.

1. Important: Make sure to disconnect your computer from the Internet before uninstalling your anti-virus software. You could get infected while you are unprotected!
2. Click on the Windows Start button, then select Settings and choose Control Panel.
3. Double-click the Add or Remove Programs control panel.
4. The Add/Remove Programs window will open. Click on Norton Anti-Virus or the name of any other anti-virus software you need to uninstall (refer to Figure )
5. Click on the Remove button.
6. When asked Are you sure you want to uninstall Norton Home? Click Yes or OK.
7. Restart your computer.

Once you have successfully removed Norton Anti-Virus or other existing anti-virus software you may proceed with the installation of Download McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.0i software now
