| Logging in to the Villanova Wireless Network |
 |
How can I connect to a Wireless network on
campus?
Once you configured your
Wireless Client, start your laptop. A couple minutes after you boot up,
you will get a Wireless Network Connection message that
pops up on the bottom right-hand side of your screen. Click in the
message. |
|
|
You will then get a login
box. Login using your Villanova ldap userid and password.
Keep the domain blank. Hit Ok. |
 |
|
How do I know if I am connected through
Wireless?
To check to see if you are
connected to wireless, look at the icon (3 bars) in the bottom
right-hand side of you screen. |
 |
If that icon (3 bars) is
green, then you are connected. If
the icon (3 bars) is gray,
then you are not connected. You will also be able to find out if
you are connected by putting your mouse on top of the wireless icon and
it will give you the status.
How do I set up my wireless client
to automatically connect without prompting for my password?
