1. OS X must be 10.3.9 or 10.4.8. Make
sure you upgrade to the latest version of the OS X. If you have OS
10.3 it must be the latest 10.3.9. If you have OS 10.4 it must be
the latest. How to find the version of OS X on your Mac: Go to Apple
icon located in upper left corner. Click About This Mac (See images
below).
2.Go to Apple icon in upper left corner and choose System
Preferences, and then to Network Preference. Make sure that Airport
is turned on and connected. Note there should be a green circle to
the left of Airport. If the circle is red or yellow, Airport is not
connected.

This is connected TCP/IP screen shot. If IP Address is 169.xxx.xxx.xx,
you will not get
connected.
3. If not connected, go to Internet Connect icon located top right side
of display, click on
Open Internet Connect and check Villanova Wireless settings. Please note
if configuring
new Mac for first time, you must establish first 802.1X by selecting
File\New 802.1X
Connection.
Then....
3a. Click on 802.1X icon
3b.Click on 802.1 Configuration
3c.Click Edit Configurations
3d.Make changes to this screen. Remove check marks from all except TTLS.
Type in
LDAP User Name and Password. Wireless Network choose Villanova.
3e.Check TTLS for Authentication. TTLS should be highlighted. Click
Configure button.
3f.Select PAP with “anonymous” for inner authentication. Click OK button.
3g.You may have to verify server certificate.
3h.Click Show Certificate Button
Click on Trust Settings
3i.Set Trust Settings to Always Trust. Click Continue Button.
3j.Internet Connect configured
correctly on Villanova Wireless network.
3k.Internet Connect not connected to
Villanova Wireless network.
