Meet Three Villanova University Club Presidents in Palm Beach

Dimitri Chimerakis ’08, Nannette Cassidy ’85 and Joe Groglio ’80 are co-presidents in the Villanova University Club of Palm Beach. The combined talents of this trio offer many opportunities to the club they serve.

Nannette Cassidy works as the Chief Financial Officer with Multiparts. Her relationships from Nova keep her connected. “Villanova has helped mold me professionally and spiritually. I felt welcomed at Villanova from the first day I arrived, which was very comforting for a girl coming from Florida.”

After receiving her Masters in Professional Accounting at University of Miami, she began her career in public accounting in Miami. Every new position brought her further north until she finally made it back home to Palm Beach county as a CFO of an aftermarket automobile manufacturing company headquartered in Jupiter, Florida.

Dimitri Chimerakis is a Financial Advisor with The Chimerakis Group at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in Florida. He loves connecting Villanovans to Villanovans, and growing his network with diverse alumni who all share a common experience. He is spreading the values of the school in his community while making it a better place to live, work and play.

Dimitri played men’s tennis and graduated cum laude from VSB in 2008 with a major in Finance, and minor in Entrepreneurship. After living and working in Miami for several years after graduation, he moved back home to Jupiter, Florida and joined his family’s practice at Morgan Stanley to help established and emerging clients make smart choices about how they save, spend, invest, borrow and give.

Joe Groglio is a native of Rye, New York. He recently moved to Florida for business and has spent his entire career in various financial roles. Currently he serves as CFO of HotelPlanner.com, the leading online group hotel sourcing company in the world.

Joe has remained involved at Villanova University to give back because his experience at Villanova shaped him as a person, both personally, spiritually and professionally. He made so many great friends and met his wife through Villanova. He shares, “Villanova has been a really big part of my life and my family as myself, my son and my cousin all attended Villanova.”

In his free time you can find Joe pursuing his passions of golf and real estate.
