You may vary the order of most of these courses to customize your schedule.  Indeed, almost no student takes this precise schedule (for instance, you could take calculus and chemistry in first year, move biology to second year, move physics to third year, and only take four courses each semester of the third year).  Many students take the MCATs after senior year which allows much more flexibility.  Many students do a semester abroad in junior year and adjust this schedule accordingly.

BSC majors must:

Plan their academic program in accord with the requirements set forth in the Villanova University Bulletin Undergraduate Full-Time Studies.

Satisfy the requirements of the Core Program of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Sample four-year plan for taking the required courses for the BSC major are available for the various concentrations offered through the program.
