The masters degree is offered with concentrations in two areas for individuals interested in earning their MS through the department:
Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling.
We also offer certificates in counseling and the option to take individual courses to enhance your professional expertise.

The Counsel for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), a specialized body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, has granted accreditation to both the School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health programs in Villanova's Department of Education and Counseling. The CACREP Board of Directors met in July 2015 and awarded accreditation to both our counseling programs through 2023.
