The High School Ethics Bowl is modeled on the Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl (IEB) which has been in existence for over 18 years. In addtion to regional competitions, winning and high-scoring teams may be invited to participate in the national competition, which takes place around the end of February or the beginning of March in association with the national meeting of the Association for Practical & Professional Ethics.
Information about the IEB can be found on the website for the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics. More information about the IEB as well as a case archive, from which many high school ethics bowl questions are drawn, can be found on the website for the Illinois Institute of Technology.
Additional information can be found in this New York Times article on the Long Island Ethics Bowl.
