On Campus Opportunities

There is an abundance of opportunities at Villanova—the trick is knowing where to find them.

We have collected here links to Villanova's Center for Undergraduate Research and Fellowships, study abroad opportunities, and the College of Liberal Arts & Science's BRIDGE Society. Click here for scholarship and fellowship opportunities specifically tailored to Humanities students.

The Villanova Center for Undergraduate Research and Fellowhips is your go-to place to think about both research and fellowship opportunities. This center helps students apply for research opportunities like the Villanova Undergraduate Research Fellowship (VURF). The center also guides students through nationally competitive fellowships like the Rhodes, Marshall, Mitchell, and Fulbright Fellowships. Many students in the Department of Humanities have received the Villanova Undergraduate Research Fellowship, and we have also had graduates who have received Fulbright Fellowships for work in Denmark, India, and Korea.

The center maintains an ever-growing list of scholarships, fellowships, research grants, and internships for our students to investigate. If you are a student interested in any of these opportunities, please feel free to stop by their office in Garey Hall 38 or call at (610) 519-5928.

The Department of Humanities is committed to assisting students as they find study abroad programs that are academically rich, intellectually serious, and compatible with their course of study. Please feel free to consult with the department chair about your likely options once you have met with the Office of Education Abroad.

The Office of Education Abroad (OEA) at Villanova University provides the Villanova community with the opportunity to experience the world beyond the borders of our campus and country. As an academic office, their focus is on student learning, and their goal is to provide programming that will allow students to become immersed in their host culture.

Your first steps to a study abroad experience is to login to passport.villanova system (using your myNOVA login) to complete a Study Abroad Interest Form.
