The Public History Community Forum - or PubComm - is an annual graduate student-organized event intended to create a platform for Philadelphia-area public history professionals and students to share ideas and inspire collaboration via workshops, presentations, and panels. It is co-sponsored by Rutgers University-Camden and Temple University. Additional support is provided by the Lepage Center for History in the Public Interest.
Fifty years ago, Philadelphia and the world were rocked by war, protest, and social unrest. In 2018, the Historical Society of Pennsylvania and the Lepage Center for History in the Public Interest convene a group of scholars to examine the legacy, resonance, and lasting impact of that tumultuous year.
