The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures promotes the study of languages as a mean to achieve cultural literacy. Literature, cultural studies and film courses stimulate intellectual curiosity and creative thinking, abilities that may be used in a variety of career paths. CCATE & Villanova Mural Presentation

A mural titled "Mexican Social Movements of the 20th and 21st Century" was painted by Villanova students and members of the Latino community of the Center for Culture, Art, Teaching and Education (CCATE) and presented on November 10, 2016.

On Thursday, November 10, 2016, an event was held by the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at Villanova University to celebrate the completion of the mural titled "Mexican Social Movements of the 20th and 21st Century." Here is a behind the scenes look at how the mural was prepared.
