Dr. Christopher Barnett
As part of the editorial work on his upcoming book, Theology and the Films of Terrence Malick (London: Routledge, forthcoming 2016), worked with Broad Green Pictures and arranged for a private screening of Malick’s new film, Knight of Cups (2016). This will take place in September in Manhattan, and contributors from Syracuse University and Baylor University will be attending.
Along with Prof. Jack Doody, confirmed and began organizing an upcoming conference, “Kierkegaard, Augustine, and the Catholic Tradition.” This event will be held on Villanova’s campus on Oct. 27-28, 2016.

Dr. Anthony Godzieba
In May 2015, served as one of the readers of the Ph.D. dissertation of a graduate of our M.A. program, and was one of the examiners during his successful dissertation defense in the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.
At the Catholic Theological Society of America convention in June 2015, along with Bradford Hinze (Fordham), convened and moderated the final session of the three-year seminar on “Theological Hermeneutics and Critical Theories: Catholic Trajectories Since Vatican II.” Hinze and Godzieba have recently entered into an agreement with Liturgical Press to publish all the papers from the seminar, along with additional materials, in a volume edited by them and scheduled for publication in late 2016.
In July 2015, was the subject of a podcast interview (episode 7) on the Daily Theology website (http://dailytheology.org), conducted by Dr. Stephen Okey (St. Leo University).

Villanova will be signing a Collaborative Agreement with CRS Madagascar early this fall.
