Panel on “Women in the Caring Industry

The bulk of caring is done by women, and most people in the paid caring industry are women.  This has implications for the women themselves financially, emotionally and physically.  It also has implications for families, firms, and the greater economy. The panel will explore the economic impact, as well as the physical and mental impact.  We will also explore some public policies that address this issue.  Information on resources, here at Villanova as well as in the area will be provided.
