Fireside Chat with VSB Dean Joyce Russell and Linda Bell, Provost, Barnard College 

Come and listen as our own VSB Dean interviews Linda Bell, Provost of Barnard College and the Claire Tow Professor of Economics. Before coming to Barnard Linda Bell was the Provost at Haverford College and the Huford Professor of Economics, and a Senior Economist in the research department at the Federal Reserve Bank in New York. Her recent research focuses on the determination of gender compensation differences in executive pay in large U.S.  corporations generally, and on female mentorship at the executive level specifically. Come and listen to what should be an interesting conversation between two very accomplished women leaders!

Panel Discussion - Caring Work: Who & At What Cost?

The Caring Industry, both paid and unpaid, is dominated by women.  Come listen to a panel discussion examining the economic, physical and emotional impact of caring work on individuals and families with implications for firms and the greater economy.  We will also examine how one can be involved in affecting change.
