The goal of the Marketing Immersion Experience Initiative is to provide our undergraduate students with an unmatched learning experience that will position them for success as they compete for the very best jobs in marketing. To provide a complete experience that is unmatched by any other undergraduate marketing program, we provide unique immersion experiences for a variety of different career paths.

 

Corporate Immersion

Corporate Immersion

The CMCI Corporate Immersion Experience is a unique opportunity for marketing students to partner with accomplished Villanova alumni and experience “a day in the life” at world-class marketing and media companies.

The experience gives students in-depth exposure to all areas of marketing, further enabling them to make informed decisions on job pursuits post-graduation. During the Corporate Immersions, students explore positions in business areas such as integrated investment, planning & strategy, business development, integrated marketing, and many more.

Conference Immersion

Conference Immersion Experience

CMCI sends VSB marketing students to conferences across various areas of the industry. In a short, intense time period, these conferences provide a valuable professional development experience for students looking to further refine their interests in the field. Students have the opportunity to interact and network with employers while developing the confidence necessary to achieve their primary goal – JOBS!! Each year, CMCI provides funding for 15-20 marketing students to attend a variety of different professional conferences in the areas of digital marketing, marketing technology, advertising, sports, and fashion.

Innovation Immersion

As the digital marketing ecosystem becomes more complex, CMCI is constantly looking for innovative ways to engage students and help them learn about the exciting and fast-paced world of marketing technology. In partnership with Villanova’s Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship Institute, CMCI offers various different Innovation Treks for students throughout the year. Through a competitive application process, approximately 20 students are selected to participate in each Trek. Innovation Treks have featured site visits in NYC and Philadelphia to a variety of innovative marketing companies including Google, Yext, Yieldbot, Comcast, Y&R, and Curalate. During these Treks, students are able to experience marketing technology first-hand, learn about career opportunities in digital marketing, and network with Villanova alumni working in this exciting area.
