Sports Promoting Economic and Real Estate Growth

Sports promoting Economic & Real Estate growth

More than ever sports and recreation are playing bigger roles in local economies and real estate development.  Sporting facilities and venues are increasingly designed for multiple purposes, and in conjunction with a mix of uses to serve the surrounding neighborhood and community via entertainment, restaurants, retail, hospitality and offices.  The venues that host sports events are often cultural and economic pillars of the communities they serve.  Sports team facilities are entertainment destinations, have helped neighborhood revitalization and are a source of civic pride.  However economic pressures and cultural shifts are bringing about changes in venue design, ticket prices, etc.  Come hear our expert panelists discuss the complexities of the sports business, real estate needs, and deal structuring/funding of sporting facilities.
