SPORTS and its IMPACT in PROMOTING ECONOMIC & REAL ESTATE GROWTH

SPORTS and its IMPACT in PROMOTING ECONOMIC & REAL ESTATE GROWTH

More than ever sports and recreation are playing bigger roles in local economies and real estate development. Sporting facilities and venues are increasingly designed for multiple purposes, and in conjunction with a mix of uses to serve the surrounding neighborhood and community via entertainment, restaurants, retail, hospitality and office. Sports team facilities have helped neighborhood revitalization and facilities are a source of civic pride. However economic pressures and cultural shifts are bringing about changes in venue design. Come hear our panelists discuss the complexities of the sports business, real estate needs, and funding of sporting facilities.
