Villanova University’s Applied Finance Lab is a state-of-the art financial research and teaching center that creates a dynamic bridge between financial theory and business practice. The lab truly emulates the Wall Street experience by being a simulated trading room, and provides students with hands-on access to the same data used by Wall Street traders.

Student Managed Funds

Student Managed Funds at Villanova University began in 2004 with one fund of $100,000, and now consists of seven funds, totaling over $1 million in value. Funds have been provided by generous donations from various alumni and faculty of Villanova. Managing actual funds provides students with real-world investment management experience.
