Villanova School of Business Alumna Included on Distinguished List of Women Leaders

Meyer Award

Villanova, PA, December 13, 2012 – Clare McGrory ’97 VSB, ’08 EMBA was named one of Philadelphia’s Most Powerful and Influential Women in 2012 by the Pennsylvania Diversity Council. The annual list is comprised of an elite group of women who have displayed outstanding leadership, professional excellence and a commitment to the community.

McGrory formally received this honor at the 2012 Philadelphia Diversity & Leadership Conference. The event featured a keynote speech by CNN’s Soledad O’Brien, as well as breakout sessions and panel discussions.

McGrory, Vice President of Finance for Retail Marketing at Sunoco, Inc., was previously responsible for the company’s investor relations program. She has held various positions in finance and accounting during her career. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Philadelphia and as a liaison for Sunoco’s partnership with City Year in Philadelphia, serving as a mentor and coordinating professional development activities.
