VILLANOVA, Pa., March 20, 2018 - The Villanova School of Business is proud to announce that Mike Innocenzo ’96 MBA will become president and CEO of PECO with the upcoming retirement of current president and chief executive, Craig Adams. Innocenzo has served in his current role as senior vice president and chief operating officer since 2013 and has been with the company for over thirty years, during which he held a variety of leadership roles across the company.

“The entire VSB community could not be more proud of Mike as he embarks on his new role as CEO of PECO,” said Joyce E. A. Russell, PhD, The Helen and William O'Toole Dean of VSB.

“My VSB education along the values of community and caring taught at VSB have helped me throughout my career at PECO, as well as in my board affiliations and other volunteer endeavors,” said Innocenzo, PECO senior vice president and COO. “By combining these values with a drive for innovation, we’ve been able to make a difference for our customers and our region.”

Denis O’Brien, senior executive vice president of Exelon Corporation and CEO of Exelon Utilities, and the PECO Board of Directors, described Innocenzo as the natural choice because he has the “experience and strategic vision to see where PECO needs to go and make it happen.”
