Dr. Kelly currently teaches two undergraduate courses in biochemical engineering that cover the fundamentals of cell metabolism and growth , as well as bioproduct isolation and purification:

  • CHE 5532: Introduction to Biotechnology
  • CHE 5533: Bioseparations

Dr. Kelly co-developed and taught with Dr. Jonathan Doh from Villanova’s School of Business (for the first time in the Spring 2010) a course on current technical, regulatory and business challenges in the Pharmaceutical Industry:

  • CHE 2900: The Global Pharmaceutical Industry

Dr. Kelly teaches via distance education two of the four courses comprising the “Biochemical Engineering” graduate certificate; covering upstream and downstream bioprocessing:

  • CHE 8588: Biochemical Engineering I
  • CHE 8589: Biochemical Engineering II
