Undergraduate and Graduate Transcripts

Undergraduate and Graduate Transcripts are delivered electronically, by postal delivery or by student pick-up.  Paper Transcript orders are fulfilled through the Office of the Registrar. Electronic Transcript Orders are fulfilled by Credentials Inc.  All financial and registrar obligations must be cleared before any transcript request will be honored.  

Students expecting final grades on January 2, 2018 Please select the "hold for grades" option when ordering a transcript.

Students expecting degrees for December 2017:
December 2017 degrees will be posted to transcripts by January 15, 2018. Diplomas will be mailed directly to the address specified on your Prospective Graduation Form or Application to Graduate.  Degree candidates: please select the hold for degree option when ordering a transcript.

Current Students and Alumni/Former Students who completed a course in the past year

  • Go to myNOVA
  • In the search box, enter Transcript
  • Select the Order a Transcript card or task item
  • Log in with your Villanova username and password
  • In the next window, select the first link, Villanova University- Main Campus Degree Program to order a transcript from Transcripts Plus

Alumni and Former Students  (or those who cannot access myNOVA) 
Order a transcript from the TranscriptsPlus website.  Select Main Campus Degree Program.

Please note that if your attendance at Villanova University began prior to 1984, your transcript is available in paper format only (i.e., electronic delivery is not available).

If you are uncomfortable placing an order over the Internet, you can call Credentials Inc. at 847-716-3005 to place your transcript request.  There is an additional operator surcharge for placing orders over the telephone.

  • All transcripts issued are official. No unofficial transcripts will be issued
  • Due to Federal law, requests CANNOT be processed without a legal signature or secured authorization  Therefore, email and telephone requests cannot be honored.
  • Requests are normally processed within two business days of receipt but may take up to five days during peak periods (beginning and end of each semester).
  • The Office of the Registrar will not, under any circumstances, fax out a transcript.
  • Villanova University has appointed Credentials Inc. as the designated agent for processing and sending official electronic transcripts on behalf of Villanova University.  The PDF transcript that is produced using this service contains the identical information as the printed transcript and can be certified as unaltered by uploading the file to the company’s website that is provided during the delivery process.  Credentials Inc. has been granted the authority to deliver all such electronic transcript requests on behalf of Villanova University and respond to any inquiries regarding the transactions.

Announcements

The spring 2018 semester has begun!  All students should be fully registered for courses beginning in January 2018.

Drop/Add Deadlines
Students, please consult your respective program’s academic calendar for drop/add deadline. After the drop/add deadline, no changes may be made to your schedule. You must contact your college or program advisor directly if you choose to withdraw from a course.

Fall 2017 Incomplete (N) Grade Deadlines
Students: Those carrying an incomplete (N) grade for fall 2017 coursework must submit work to their instructor no later than Friday, January 26, 2018. 
Instructors: Grade Changes Requests for fall 2017 coursework are due no later than Friday, February 9, 2018.  See Grade Change Workflow located under Policies and Procedures, for instructions to submit change of grade.
