VILLANOVA, Pa. – Villanova University will hold the second annual Spring Research Exposition, April 20-24, to celebrate the scholarly achievements of Villanova’s undergraduate, graduate student and faculty researchers during the past academic year. Sponsored by the Center for Undergraduate Research and Fellowships, the week-long series of events will showcase a year’s worth of undergraduate accomplishments in innovation and creativity, as well as research performed by graduate students and faculty.

“Two years ago, we realized that while Villanova faculty and students produce world-class research, there was no platform on which to showcase it within the University,” said Jane Morris, Director of the Center for Undergraduate Research & Fellowships. “The Expo is an opportunity to celebrate Villanova scholars, and the fascinating and imaginative projects to which they have devoted so much effort.”

Undergraduate Research Exposition events will include poster presentations, thesis defenses, awards ceremonies, project demonstrations and an entrepreneurial competition. Students from each of the University’s four undergraduate colleges will participate in the Expo and more than 15 students will be recognized with awards.
