Ruth McDermott-Levy, MPH, PhD, RN, associate professor and director of the Center for Global and Public Health

Nancy C. Sharts-Hopko, PhD, RN, FAAN, professor and director of the PhD Program in Nursing

Was appointed to Radnor Township’s Board of Health on January 4, 2016 and will serve a three-year term.

And presented "Mental Health Status Indicators and Vision Status Among Adult Women Respondents to the 2010-2013 National Health Interview Survey” at the ENRS Scientific Sessions in Washington DC in April 2015.

Carol Toussie Weingarten, PhD, RN, ANEF, associate professor

Heads the interdisciplinary Joining Forces Task Force at the College of Nursing and serves as a faculty liaison between SNAP-Villanova and the Athletic Department for Military Appreciation events like the annual football game (Nov. 14, 2015) and the 2015 Veterans Day campus program honoring active duty military, veterans, their families and the nurses and other health care providers who care for them.  Along with Linda Copel, Susan Meyers, Helene Moriarty, and Sharon Roth-DeFulvio, she is consulting on a special project with colleagues on the childbearing units at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, an American military hospital in Germany.
