My View

PNP trip to Dominican Republic

"I was able to travel for a week with a group of my professors and second degree students to the Dominican Republic. This experience deeply impacted me. We offered education and healthcare to those who may have never even seen a doctor. Although I was so far away from home I realized that we as people are so much the same. A mother will go to extremes to care for her child; a nurse will give her all to advocate for her patients, a doctor will dedicate his life to care for as many as possible. I learned to have eyes to see through this trip."
