Villanova currently administers a wide array of year-long and semester programs in locations worldwide.  Some programs are interdisciplinary, open to all students and offer direct enrollment opportunities at overseas universities and/or language immersion. Other opportunities are more thematic and offer structured course options designed for specific majors or specialty cohorts.

    London Experience

    This spring-semester program is designed for sophomores enrolled in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. An eighteen-week overseas study experience, the program combines small academic seminars taught by a faculty member from Villanova’s distinguished English Department with classes offered by the Arcadia University London Centre, Queen Mary University, Goldsmiths University of London, and City University. read more

  • Nursing Year in Manchester

    Nursing Year in Manchester

    The College of Nursing has established a year-long study abroad program with the University of Manchester in England. Students in this program spend their Sophomore year in the Nursing Department of the University of Manchester. The courses transfer to Villanova as the Sophomore year of the nursing curriculum and no time is lost in the four year course of studies. read more

    The Center for Development Studies in Costa Rica (ICDS) offers a unique study abroad opportunity for a semester term with the ¨Development Studies in Latin America: An Interdisciplinary Program.¨ It allows students to build their own program in accordance to their interests. Villanova Summer Programs

Villanova Summer Programs

The Villanova Sumer Programs are offered throughout Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa. Programs run from 6-10 weeks over the summer months. Villanova Summer Programs are directed by Villanova University Faculty Program Coordinators (FPC) from all academic disciplines and departments. Instruction is offered by Villanova Faculty Program Coordinators as well as faculty members associated with the host institution.

Villanova MBA Programs

The MBA Programs offer short-term summer and winter break international experiences led by a Villanova faculty members. These programs are designed to fulfill MBA international requirements while accommodating the busy schedules of working professionals.     This program for MBA students includes an introduction to international trade and finance in Australia. Lectures will be given by faculty from the University of New South Wales. read more

    MBA Studies in International Business in China

    This 2-week program for MBA students includes an introduction to Chinese business, culture, and society. Through team-taught courses (in English) at the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS) and site visits in the Shanghai and Beijing areas, students are introduced to macroeconomics, business management, finance, the stock exchange, foreign trade, and marketing in China. read more

    MBA Studies in The Italian Economy

    This 3 week, 3-credit program includes a study of culture and languages, politics, society, economics and history of Italy. A practical introduction to European and Italian business, as well as culture and society is also included. read more

  • MBA International Business Program in Dubai

    MBA International Business Program in Dubai

    This 3-week program for MBA students includes an introduction to business, culture, and society in the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) Region. Through seminars (in English) taught by the Faculty and Industry Leaders at the American University in the Emirates and with site visits in Dubai and the surrounding Emirates, students are introduced to the Economic Policies, Business Practices, Finance and Islamic Banking, Dubai Stock Exchange, and Marketing Strategies of the GCC. read more
