Presidential Scholars Program Organization

The Presidential Scholars Program (PSP) is managed by the Director with the advice of a 15-member Advisory Board, six of whom also serve as the Chairs of the PSP selection committees. Strategic decisions regarding the Presidential Scholarship for Historically Underrepresented Students (UPS) are made with the advice and consent of the Associate Vice Provost for Diversity and Inclusion.

The PSP selection committees take a holistic approach in reviewing applicants and look at multiple criteria including academic achievement, civic engagement, creativity, expertise in a particular field, leadership, and resiliency.
