  • Completed changed section on cyber campaigning
    •     Previous language was out of date
    • Difficult to keep up with increase in Social Media usage
    • New rules make it fair for candidates and students
      • Section 4
        • Section 4.4A addresses issues regarding solicitation
          • Subject to all rules applicable to posters
        • Section 4.4B addresses release dates
        • Section 4.4C address webpages
        • Section 4.4D Address social media accounts
          • Allows one account per platform
          • Candidates cannot automatically add students to campaign material
          • Candidates should add/ follow someone from the Elections Commission to any social media account
        • Section 4.4E addresses instant messaging/ GroupMe
          • Candidates limited on who they can send messages/ how many messages per group

          • Use of Villanova mass email lists is prohibitive
