If you are not currently a Villanova student but will be beginning graduate work here in the fall, the following is an outline of the Resident Assistant Selection Process. Graduate students interested in applying to be a Resident Assistant should review the following information carefully. Due to the time-consuming nature of both the RA position and the Law program, first-year Law students are generally discouraged from applying. YOU MUST HAVE ALREADY APPLIED TO A VILLANOVA GRADUATE PROGRAM IN ORDER TO COMPLETE THE RA APPLICATION AND PARTICIPATE IN THE INTERVIEW PROCESS.
Applicants with previous RA experience who are seeking full-time graduate studies at Villanova who wish to be considered for a Graduate Resident Director position, please see our GRD Applicant page. If you have further questions, please contact Sarah Piff at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In order to fully understand the responsibilities associated with the RA position, we strongly encourage you to carefully read all information on this site especially the Resident Assistant job description.
RA applicants who are currently attending another college or university should contact Sarah Piff at email@example.com to obtain access to the online RA application at https://housing.villanova.edu. YOU MUST HAVE ALREADY APPLIED TO A VILLANOVA GRADUATE PROGRAM IN ORDER TO COMPLETE THE ONLINE RA APPLICATION.
Please send a one-page resume, highlighting your college activities, leadership, and work experience, to firstname.lastname@example.org by the application deadline.
Your RA interview will last approximately 2 hours in either a morning or afternoon session. The interview consists of both an individual interview and a group process activity with other RA candidates. You will be asked to select an interview date and morning or afternoon preference on the application.
