Skype for Business

UNIT is now supporting the use of Microsoft's Skype for Business to the Villanova community. This messaging application can be used for messaging and meeting needs including conference calls.   

Features included:

  1. Mobile Skype for Business app
  2. Skype to Skype communication audio/video [needs headsets, mic, and speakers(not provided)]  
  3. All conference call needs
  4. Global Address List
  5. Screensharing
  6. Instant Messaging
  7. Presence from calendar (will no longer show in call presence)
  8. File transfer

Effective December 11th, 2017, Villanova will be moving away from Avaya conference call lines to use our new Skype for Business solution.

Currently all active Villanova Employees have access, and will keep access as long as they are active.
