In 1978, Dan Regan began serving Villanova as an academic advisor and he has served continuously in that role since. A graduate of the University of Toronto, he received his master's degree from Villanova and his doctorate from Fordham University. He is a professor of philosophy at Villanova University.

Amy received her bachelor 's degree in Business Administration (Accounting) from Franklin and Marshall College, where she was a member of the volleyball team. Additionally, she earned a Master of Education in Sport and Recreation Administration from Temple University. Amy joined the Office of Academic Support for Athletics at Villanova in August of 2003. In her current position, Amy oversees the daily operations of the Office of Academic Support for Athletics. As the primary liaison between the academic and athletic communities, Amy is in constant communication with deans, faculty, and coaches. An active member of the National Association for Athletic Academic Advisors (N4A), Amy is a member of the Membership Committee and serves on the Region I conference planning committee.

Tara, who is originally from Fairfield, Connecticut, attended Syracuse University as an undergrad, where she was a member of the women 's swim team. She graduated in 2001 with a degree in Sociology. Tara continued her education at Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts, where she earned a Masters of Education in Counseling and Psychological Services with a specialization in Athletic Counseling. While attending Springfield College, Tara interned in the Student-Athlete Support Services office at the University of Massachusetts, where she served as an academic advisor for the Men 's and Women 's Swim Team, Field Hockey and Rowing teams. After graduating in May of 2004, Tara worked at two Philadelphia High Schools as a Play It Smart Academic Coach with the National Football Foundation. Tara joined the Office of Academic Support for Athletics at Villanova University in August of 2005.
